The last one is Orson Wells.
The second one is light bologna.
I don't know the first one.

here's another in the same vein: Back victory deer.

right on the last one (oars on wells). it's easier graphically though. 🙂
the second one isn't what i'm going for however (leg joint isn't bologna).
the colon in the first one shouldn't be there.
keep trying!

`back victory deer' = rear window (rear + win + doe).

In the same vein as the 'hads' there is the more simple 5 'ands' in a row.

I think the first one is : elevator out of order---I still can't figure out the second one.

Here's one another one: pub, buzzing insect, line in England, hole.

right on the frist one. the letters spell "elevator" so the way they are arranged, it's "elevator out of order". a corresponding one for the british would be "ftil".

clue to the second one:
visualize what the leg joint might be, and the fluorescent tubes beneath it.

the answer to yours is barbecue pit (bar + bee + queue + pit).

bingo! (knee on lights)

did anyone figure out the other one i posted (``subject verb object-t-t-t-t'😉 yet?

p. s.: i just discovered a bug in the `bbcode' script. i wanted to put the `quoted' part above in bold, but no matter what i'd do, it would throw away the rest of the line! i tried putting in extra spaces, moving the closing delimeter around, and so forth--no difference! i've seen this on other sites that use `'bbcode' so i'm sure it's something in the script that controls it. note, however, that it worked in the first line!
that's why there are so many edits.
