Well, apparently the purple finch is a few different colours:

"Adults have a short forked brown tail and brown wings. Adult males are raspberry red on the head, breast, back and rump; their back is streaked. Adult females have light brown upperparts and white underparts with dark brown streaks throughout; they have a white line on the face above the eye."

EDIT: While I'm on Wikipedia, camel hair brushes are apparently made from anything but camel hair:

"Paintbrush bristles are [sic] derived either from the hairs of horses, squirrels, goats, sheep, bears, or some combination of these."

From the answerbag: "The term camel hair is very misleading. Camel hair brushes actually consist of various inexpensive hair types like Asian pony, bear, sheep or lesser grade squirrel hair. There is not a single hair from a real camel in a camel hair brush."
I think my "ponies with other animals on top" was an accurate enough to be correct answer?

This is hardly conclusive proof that they are all orange.

# How long did the Hundred Years War last? 116 years
# Which country is best known for first producing Panama hats? Ecuador. "Panama" hats have been made for more than 300 years by craftsmen from small Ecuadorian villages. In more recent years, they are also made in Hawaii (US), Costa Rica, and other parts of the world.
# From which animal do we get catgut? Typically from sheep and horses, not cats; but there are also other animal sources.
# In which month do Russians celebrate the October Revolution? November
# What is a camel hair brush made of? A Camel hair brush can be made of ox, goat, squirrel, pony, or any variety of other natural animal hairs. Camel is the name of the person who invented the Camel hair brush.
# The Canary Islands are named after what animal? Dogs (Canares, from the Latin, meaning dogs)
# What was King George VI's first name? Albert
# What color is a purple finch? Crimson
# Where are Chinese gooseberries most frequently grown? New Zealand, the U.S., Europe, and Chile. Chinese Gooseberries are native to China but are now grown commercially in other countries. In Chile, these fruits were initially called Chinese Gooseberries, but they are now more widely known as kiwis, which comes from the kiwi bird, the national bird of New Zealand.

As these answers correspond to my answers they are deemed right; all other answers are deemed wrong.

A bird's colouring, as any good ornithologist knows, refers to its breast.
