in a dark room
Joined 21 May '06 Moves 2491 mmmmmmmmm no i don't believe so, because of air pressure, air would simply enter the tube, depressurize and then sit there. At least i believe so
Joined 11 Nov '05 Moves 43938 No, we woldn't.
Gravity holds the air back anyway, with tube or without.
How would a tube kill us? Do you have something in mind that I don't think of?

It would only kill people if there was a vacuum at the space end of the tube, to suck people into space.

Space is a vacuum . Why haven't we all been sucked into space? Gravity holds the air down in our atmosphere.
Therefore small bodies, with weak gravitation, has no atmosphere, as our moon.
