    mmmmmmmmm no i don't believe so, because of air pressure, air would simply enter the tube, depressurize and then sit there. At least i believe so

    Gravity holds the air back anyway, with tube or without.
    How would a tube kill us? Do you have something in mind that I don't think of?

    It would only kill people if there was a vacuum at the space end of the tube, to suck people into space.

    Therefore small bodies, with weak gravitation, has no atmosphere, as our moon.
