I remember when that song came out🙂 And there are a few new ones now.

Do you know where that melody came from?

I used to be able to recite most of the elements, but not to that tune. I learn't them in atomic order.
I also used to know most of the words to the original song (Major-General's Song from The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan).

That's the one! Did you ever hear of Patrick Sky? There might be a version of it from him on youtube. Found a few songs from Patrick, he has been making Irish pipes for 40 years. I found "Many a Mile' by him on youtube, written by Buffee St. Marie. And a few others.

Did they revise the song since 2005?

And why the need to know them all? Certain ones are relevant to relevant fields.... there is no cause to memorise them all, as they are usually displayed in any scientific environment anyway...

Here is Patrick sky singing Many a mile, written by Buffy St. Marie:

Here they talk about him today, he now makes Irish pipes.:

Here he is back in the '60's, the song Ira Hays, written by Peter La Farge.

I got a giggle out of this one, Cape Cod Girls:
