"This is a previously unrealized challenge in cockroaches," the study's lead author, Michael Scharf, said in a statement on June 25. "Cockroaches developing resistance to multiple classes of insecticides at once will make controlling these pests almost impossible with chemicals alone."

insecticide is not the only optio to kill nad probably in most instances not the best.
I know of mice and cats still eating roaches...

Oh and radnomly killing off species wasn't a brilliant idea in the first place

Stuff I used to get rid of them, sugar laced baking soda, there is no immune reaction to that I think. Sugar attracts them, baking soda kills them.
