    Large El Nino usually means more rain for California, let's hope so, The only problem is there may be flooding because of burned brush cover.

    Yeah, 'West Coasters' might be one of the few people who would cheer on a strong El Niño.

    Too much rain all at once such that the ground cannot absorb it

    along with more rain, California needs an above average winter snow pack

    Does usually, it's forecast/expected to be a thing in 2016 as well...
