Cladding in renovation is the same type as caused a Melbourne Docklands tower fire 3 years ago. That time it was a new building with full fire protection design and nobody was hurt. Our inquiry made it clear that the stuff is actively dangerous in that a minor domestic fire (that time a small aircon unit on an outside balcony) is encouraged to spread upward getting hotter and smokier as it goes. Why is it still being installed in first-world countries?
