When people ask me about this I usually answer that the equations gives the solution that manifests a particle in two different ways to express at the same thing. The equations know but we have difficulties to express the result in a popular way. Therefore we usually explain a particle as a wave or a wave as a particle.
And now suddenly the article says that the correct interpretation wasn't found until now?
