powerful magnets with a metal bar inside say a torus shaped magnet will produce an electronic signal detected by a very sensitive detector when a gravity wave vibrates the inner metal bar which interacts with the magnetic field to produce a detectable signal indicating the passage of a gravitational wave but sensitive to MEGAHERTZ frequency waves instead of the low kilohertz waves detected by LIGO and the rest of the laser/mirror technology used today.
