I was reading about this one this morning: -

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-55639096

A new treatment involving the patient inhaling interferon beta via a nebuliser that provokes a strong immune response in the lungs. This can prevent them from developing more serious symptoms after being infected. It's still in trials but sounds promising.

I think its only a matter of time before a really effective treatment is discovered. I just hope its sooner rather than later.

@Sicilian-Sausage
The problem is it is ALREADY later, with deaths in the US closing in on a half MILLION.

I believe this medicine, ivermectin, is a serious option for the underpriviledged.
Its widely available, and not so expensive.
FDA has approved it for humans, but I suppose its dose should be carefully measured.

@pawnpaw
They mentioned a dose level of 5 micro M. Any idea what that is? Micro Mole? I don't see how to convert that to microliters or cubic millimeters or picometers, whatever?.

@sonhouse
I suppose it's micrometers as opposed to millimeters.
That's one thousandth of a millimeter?
Maybe my math is wrong. 🙄

Some medications are prescribed and administered in microlitres.
