    Even that beast had a predator, the fossils have bite marks from a large Caiman.

    I once came across a snapping turtle. It was less than 2 feet long but is scared the krap out of me. I poked it with a stick and it snapped it in half before I could blink.

    And that thing was full of spikes and claws, like a cross between a turtle and a dragon. Later that day an old farmer told us to stay away from them - they are very dangerous.

    @bunnyknight

    They could bite your finger off in one crunch so best to avoid them.
    But imagine a turtle weighing a TON and ten feet long, you would lose more than a finger.......

    I can imagine that if they had tried, the turtle would soon be enjoying human soup.

    A restaurant advertised a free dinner if they don't have something the customer wants. A man comes in, and with a sneaky grin orders a dinosaur steak with Korean potatoes and a bun. The waitress soon returns and tells the man, "Well, sir, looks like you got yourself a free dinner. I'm very sorry, but we're all out of buns."

    Now what do you think a T-Rex would do to you if he caught even a hint that you're comparing him to a chicken?
