That has already been discovered; the heavier chemical elements in us are diarrheaed out from stars.

The existence of an anti-Higgs boson. An attempt will be made to use it to explain dark energy, which will fail. Instead, it will add, to dark matter and dark energy, a Dark Force.

At least one additional fossil hominid ancestor of h.saps, previously unknown.

EDIT: some among us will think this is silly.

What would be a silly discovery this year would be the discovery of some Christian fundamentalists that believe and say it is logically possible that the Bible might not be right about everything.

Equally silly: an atheist fundamentalist (but I repeat myself) admitting that not everything in the Bible is utterly wrong.

Humans will discover a world with alien life and covertly go there and kidnap life forms and do experiments on them.

like the Romans sometimes crucified people? Or that there was a man called Jesus?
I wonder; are there some religious fundamentalists out there that are just so completely out of it that they actually believe all atheists deny even the most trivial and unremarkable of such facts implied/said by the Bible? I hope not. They would be even more beyond our help than the more typical ones.
