There is a new paper out ( a link that should be available is https://phys.org/news/2025-12-days-disaster-earth-orbit.html)

The thesis is that we are on our way to lose the potion to do space exploration due to too many LEO-satellites.

My question: Should we regulate more on this to keep options open for coming generations?

Yes. The "space" in space should be purchased and taxed like property and the money should be used to finance space travel.
