Yeah and its not the first failed landing either and they do learn as they go along. I certainly expect we will see a first stage successfully landed and re-used in the next couple of years saving 30 million dollars or so.

And they did have the successful landing in December.
This one was to a ship which is a slightly harder target, but has the advantage of saving significantly on fuel as you don't have to fly all the way back the the launch pad.
