I would like to see a digital reconstruction of Stonehenge to see what it looked like just after it was finished. Today of course, half the rocks are gone, maybe just taken to use elsewhere.
@sonhouse saidIn fact I think this won't be possible, one fact is that stones were removed as you wrote. The other is that some 19th century guy tried to reconstruct and might have not hit the mark...

I thin it has been shown the placement of the vertical rocks are associated with astrological events like summer solstice and such, I wonder if analysis of star positions from that age could have been used to match suspected angles carved out by those rocks?
Maybe some astrological event related to some emperor or other could be tied to some rock angles or such? Massive job though.....
