This guy has a 6.5 hour daily routine focused on not aging.
If we extrapolate this number out, its ~100 days of the year. So if his routine works to extend his life by, let's say, one third, then he lives to 110 instead of 75 but the time gained in lifespan was completely eaten up by the time spent doing "hypoxia therapy" to extend his lifespan.
Right? This seems dumb.

@wildgrass saidWhat a waste of time if he ends up getting his head chopped off before he can afford cloning, just because someone thinks he has the wrong ideas in his head, and the means to propagate them.

@Arkturos saidThere are many legit studies on how slowing your metabolism can increase lifespan. But that's the catch, right? You essentially live slower to live longer, like a runner who slows down to run farther. You end up with the same number of heartbeats in the end.

@wildgrass saidWell we are already living longer, 200 years ago you were lucky to hit 50. Now 80 is the new 50. And no doubt science will have us live longer healthier more productive lives, so 100 may not be that far away for a lot of people. Myself, my mom lived to 100, my grandma lived to 104 and a greatgrandpa lived to 104 so it looks like I picked the right parents.

@sonhouse saidImagine if they spent 6 hours a day in a hypoxia chamber.

@wildgrass saidWhat would that do besides boring the hell out of you?
