Ability to produce interactive .png so we can create our own puzzles

If there were a way to "program" .png so that we could post our own challenges- I have seen such things on other sites and it would seem simple enough. Just a .png with half of the solution moves preassigned requiring the player to find the right move or set of moves- this would be excellent for learning endgames and openers.
