    I think for some of the tournaments, the site would attract more people if tournaments offered tangible prizes, such as:

    1) Membership Extensions

    or in the case of the Annual Championship,

    2) prize money or a life-time membership to the site.

    Of course, with that you would attract more engine users so you'd really have to step it up. Anyone who accuses engine users would be taken very seriously.


    I have seen these types of tournaments sponsored on rare occasions.

    I have seen these types of tournaments sponsored on rare occasions.
    or even an achievements page with trophy icons for different types of tournaments and siege wins, i've never won
    a tournament but I'd be a bit gutted surviving and winning a long haul for a tiny bit of text on my profile.
