To all the players here, don't you think Russ has done a fantastic job and maybe
those who don't subscribe should do so, especially the 10,15,20 years plus players who are still playing for free.
How about subscribing and paying for your enjoyment.
Don't give me crap about "cannot afford it" or "I did subscribe once" , or any other excuse; RHP costs peanuts to subscribe to for your pleasure.
This is the best site on the net and shame on you who stay here for a long time and don't subscribe

What I do think is that you shouldn't concern yourself with what other users of the site choose to do. Their reasons, either way, are none of your beeswax.

Mother Hen, thank you for sharing your thoughts, but no thanks to your trying to impose your views on others as you bustle about like some self-appointed volunteer moderator.
Also, it looks like @MartinS was less focused on other people's reasons than on their lack of monetary contributions to the site.
I also seem to remember @Russ himself encouraging people to subscribe. Perhaps this is something you should take up with him?
As for the site also being ad-supported, anyone halfway savvy must know that ad-blocking extensions are easily available and some web browsers have that functionality built-in.
