Is there an easier way to get to them than to hit:

Clans
My Clans
'Clan Name'
Private Clan Forum?

Can't there be a link directly to it?

If you use Firefox and have the Greasemonkey extension, you can install the user script: http://members.shaw.ca/ouroboros/RHP/private_forums.user.js which will add your private clan forums to the 'Forums' pulldown menu as well as the 'forum list' page.
