One would assume that a conditional move would only be allowed when someone is in check. The rules being what they are, you can't castle out of check..

If someone wants to try and castle, and the move is illegal I think there shouldn't be a check. Seems to be outside assistance if RHP is telling you the move is illegal.

See the subject Deepthought brought up near bottom of page one.

Ahh, i've missed the point of this feature. I thought it was for forced moves! Hmmm, i don't think i'll be using this, too much possibility to blunder!

You can use it exclusively for forced moves if you like, right?

Yes you do.
Go to a game (whether your move or not) and in the panel next to the board (beneath the player info) you'll see a link 'Conditional moves'.

Hmmm, thinking about it this feature does provide a slight incentive for hackers to attack the site. If someone wants to discover what their opponent has planned...

People cannot have their cake and eat it. Those using the analysis board function complain that illegal moves can be made. Those using conditional moves complain illegal moves cannot be made?

Or they could just make his move for him. They wouldn't need conditionals to do that.
