How about a client that is installed on your PC that has all the main features of RHP, including all the images / page structures etc.
It could be optimised to only ask for a minimal amount of information from the RHP server, reducing load considerably (i'd suspect). What is now an HTML page file could now be a small byte stream possibly consisting of just a few bytes (as opposed to a few hundred bytes for the present HTML).
