Interesting. It's a new game now.
And at the end with the match won and a national team winners medal
in his back pocket and his mates heading for the bar this was worth a shot.
That is very difficult to win and if White is not careful he losses.
I bet the lad forgot all about it and it did not hurt one bit.
White was a 2000+ player and he got a nifty medal.
However the loser of this v a 1273 player must still be having sleepless nights.

Is the game you posted an old loss of mine? After some 1500 or so games on here I cannot remember. If it is, keep in mind I started here when I was still trying to figure out how the knight moved!

It's a good job nobody can access the blitz games I play on here.
I shoot for the stars and fail 90% of the time - you get to see the wins.
I've actually been asked am I me or is this my 6 year old grandson playing.
Think that is feature we could do with. This is site ideas after all.
The ability to see these blitz games in progress and nick them in a PGN
if we wanted to.
There again....no...forget that one.
