Just changed my board colour from B&W to a sandstone and noted that the light green highlight of move-made stayed the same. Sadly, It's not a nice match. So how about either a move highlight colour defined per board theme, or a highlight colour chosen as a seperate field?

If there were an option, that would be nice.

If when you select any given board it told you the colors, that would be nice.

If you couldn't see the options, illegal moves and good moves of different colors for any given board may be confusing.

A solution is a choice, or at least an explanation when choosing a given board.
