There is a live chess feature, where you can message as often as you like, and obviously have very short clocks too.
Right now there is no rating for these games, so I understand the lack of interest generally in the live feature, but after the next major site update, a live rating will be trialed.
@Russ; Would be a good idea to increase the live to 1 hour rated or unrated I'm 83 years old and 90% at home therefore I can have more games in one day.

Why when playing chess you can't communicate with your opponent any time,not only before you make the move?. Why can't have games from one hr. minimum to many days as they are ??
And even if you have several games going on with them, you could include a link to the game in question in the message for reference.

@Arkturos; Years ago before I joined redhotpawn I played chess at 'CHESS MANIACS' you could chat eny time during the game not only after the move!
