There are often thematic tournamenst with lots of games starting from the same positiohn. But all of these are not in the database (probably because the moves tart at a given position. Espacially thos thematic tournaments starting with an opening of the ECo could easily be ammended at the start of the tournament by the system.
(Of course it would be nice if the old games could be added by some automated process but I believe this to be not feasible)

I'm having an on and off R&D period with the Games Explorer right now as the current implementation has too many issues - it needs a big server (memory) to operate responsively even when it is only a lightly used feature.
Now, there definitely is a possibility that thematics could be picked up once a line is played - but that is a complexity I don't want to deal with, at least for now , as it is pretty complex in its own right.
Once the new implementation is available, I'll revisit this, but not as a priority unfortunately.
