So he used rather harsh profanity in the forums, well correct me if im wrong but shouldnt the chess mods be mature and civilized adults, after all, these are the people RHP is trusting to make judgements on others.
Why am i still allowed to post ?, could that be because unlike YOU and Grayeyes i dont use harsh profanity and hurl abuse at others in the forums, all i do is ask questions and make points, some people dont seem to like that, but then again No1 its not up to you, thank god.

Personally, I have no problem with you posting; as far as I'm concerned as an admitted cheater you should be given an opportunity to make amends and participate in an amnesty program.
Nobody's perfect; Grayeyes lost his temper responding to one of Mateulose's tirades. He knows he shouldn't have and accepts that he should have expected a forum ban of some length. If "Mature and civilized" must equal people who never err the Game Mod positions will go unfilled. Besides the one who will make the ultimate judgment on the evidence and appropriate punishment is Russ; the Game Mods are intended to be advisory, although we can expect that their input will weigh heavily. So the Game Mods won't make "judgments on others"; they'll make findings on what they believe to be the facts based on the evidence. As Grayeyes easily meets the criteria of being a experienced OTB player and having extensive knowledge of chess engines, I (and most people at RHP) believe he should be named as a Game Mod, but that's up to Russ, too.
