Russ,
On Monday 26 September, some idiot posted a story that thecheat2
was shot. Now, whether this was thecheat2 himself in another guise,
or some friend of his being a pud, or someone else, it was a despicable
act (albeit non-credible as it was posed).
From time to time, we also have spammers who join the site for a
day or two, blast the forums with trollish stupidity, and disappear.
I'm astounded that it isn't more chronic, but it does happen.
So, as I've proposed before (in one vein or another), I suggest that
new users:
Be limited to 5-10 posts a day, in only the general and help forums
until they accrue 20 completed games or 500 moves and that anything
they do post be reviewed for trollish content.
Just my 2 cents.

Originally posted by NemesioWhat a great idea. As long as we are making sure that all posts meet Nemesio's approval, maybe, instead of having a "Post" button, the button should be "E-mail To Nemesio". This button would e-mail a request to post to Nemesio. Once he is okay with the contents, the message it would be posted to the forums. This is the only way we could be sure no single post ever bothers Nemesio. It boggles the mind that no one has ever thought of this before.

Originally posted by rheymansCan we take this a step further? How about create the post, and send it to every member of RHP. Then, when has been rewritten, spellchecked, upgraded to meet all the sensitive needs of every member, voted upon, with a 98% approval rating, and made sure that there was no offensive material of any sort within its contents, then it could be posted. 🙄

Originally posted by KJCavalierOr further still. Russ and Chris spend all their time writing posts, which we, the users, then vote on in the community > votes area of rhp. The most popular posts then get added to the forums in carefully prepared 'neutral subject' threads.
