I actually like the feature.

Keeps me on point and when I'm done making dinner and I've got 7+ notifications, I know I've ruffled some feathers.

Notifications weren't included just to stroke your ego.

You like them? Turn them on.

I hate them, so I should be able to turn them off.

This is why I said "optional". Yeah, I know it's a vocabulary word, but go learn something.

Better than to owner having to recode something because my notification bin is always full.

Besides, I'm a bit of a Type A, so I can't stand the notification bell with a number beside it.
