@Ponderable saidOften the pattern is - sign up for one month, cause havoc, quit - leaving loads of support issues in their wake.
Administrative effort for Russ is probably the same for each length of time, so if he calculates cost one month would be much more expensive.
As you suggested, once you remove fees, taxes and all of the other associated costs, any admin effort just negates any benefit of a monthly subscription by some margin.
@Ponderable
Google Play has a monthly option and Google gets a share of it.
The browser version doesn't have to give any money to Google.
On another site I was asked to use the browser payment option instead of Google Play for that very reason.
I don't know anything about websites and costs associated with additional payment options, sorry.
@PuzZuLz saidBoth id say.
@The-only-Mr-T
Ok that's two people who are either crazy or think I am someone else.
@PuzZuLz said"Dad?" I do not believe we are related
Dad?
Getting back on topic:
The subscription fees here are peanuts and; as I said you can play for fee to try the site out for as long as you like.
Surely, as has been pointed out to you by @Ponderable, $15 a quarter is nothing and it helps Russ with this fantastic site.
Regards
@PuzZuLz saidJust done some research on your posts - tempted to pay for you to go away - you have nothing to contribute.
Dad?
I have said many times that new members should only be allowed to post in the help forum to assist them in navigating and understanding the site.
I rest my case in light of the garbage you have posted

Calm down, making enemies with people isn't going to get you anywhere. Just trust me on this.
We have an old expression been around for decades you probably know it. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it. 😉
