The new ChessatWork home page is really terrific. It makes lose any sense to this version of the twin sites.
With 3 huge boards in the center of the screen, how could someone be able to open the browser without being seen by every human being in the range of 800 meters? Not to talk about the enormous pop-up board appearing when clicking the "Info" link of "My games" page.
Please Russ rethink about this disaster or the until now useful ChessatWork will be of no mean.

Thanks for your attention.

I'm sorry smiffy... my post wasn't intended for everybody's comprehension. I'l try to be more accessible.
It was not me that created the Chessatwork version of RedHotPawn: it was Russ, I suppose.
In this way it's clear (for me but at this point I'm not sure it's the same for you) that is to detriment of Russ own work, the loss of meaning of one of the three sites.
Besides this opinion (that I think I'm allowed to express, to your disappointment) Admins work is praiseworthy 'n I'm grateful for their devotion.

Thanks for your attention.

Do what I do - never access the site by its main page. Use something like this:

http://www.timeforchess.com/onlinechess.php

...and there's no chess boards at all.

I agree. Of course you can access CAW a different way, but why should you have to?

It is a fair point. It can easily be modified, the home pages are just made of components which can be removed.

How about adding something to the 'settings' of all the RHP sites that allows you to go 'Covert'. When selected it changes the homepage to something that looks like a spreadsheet, removes all un-necissary chess boards (leaving only the game boards so people can play, but removes them from forum posts and info, etc...), removes avatars so the forums look more like something work related, removes "Chess" from the TITLE so your Start Bar doesn't give you away, etc, Until the site is effectively an un-eye catching, TABLE and TEXT site that blends in with your usual borring office applications and won't catch your bosses eye. 🙂

I like the bigger boards, the other one was way too small. Thanks for the change Russ.

Just use mobile.redhotpawn.com which is the beta site for wireless pda's.

My work blocks the main site but they don't know about this one 😀
