Here are ideas for further custimization of the profile. Should some be subscriber only? Some are pointless, but extras.
1. Choose a color of your profile text
2. Choose a color of your graph
3. Be able to underline your profile text (bold, italic, **underline)
4. Stats: Games won-lost-drawn as black and " " for white.

2. Why?
3. I can see this being useful purely from the point of view that bold/italic work elsewhere but do we really need underline? Does anybody really need underline?
4. You can access those yourself in My Performance and if someone is interested they can find them out using the Game Explorer (or would be able to if it would show all games played).

what is a "carriage return" in profile message?
Why, because it adds more individuality. It isn't a major idea, just a minor suggestion.
Note: This site isn't myspace. The main idea isn't "individuality", it's chess. Nowhere else on the site does the user get to choose the colour of the text they type so why in their profile?
And colour of their graph? What possible purpose does that serve?
