It feels clunky and alien now: The prior opponent's move is recreated (which feels spooky), the path or possible moves are highlighted on the board (like for a child's learning phase), and the moving of the pieces feels wobbly (like playing candy crush on an old Android). It's like the MySpace of chess 🙁
Sure, sure, I'm a free rider but, still, I hope these comments are useful. This site is lovely as it is.
@Lionel-Hutz saidSorry to hear you don't like it. Fortunately, you can turn this all off if you wish.

On live chess, I now have two problems:
1) I cannot get the PGN of the game from the two possible options to get it.
2) The size of the board does not fit my screen. If some users complain that the board is too small, then I complain that the free space around the board is insufficient. I cannot see the first and the eighth rank simultaneously.
I do not know the programming, but I do know that the stuff can be made so that it automatically fits the parameters of the computer screen. I also know that it is a bit more complicated to do that.
The other option would be for the user to adjust the board size themselves. However, there is no such option available at this time.
@Nanomaster saidI haven't checked this yet, but will review it within 24 hours.

@Nanomaster saidHow is this now? The live board should be very similar to your regular board now - the option to set it's size is not included yet direct from the live board, but it does respect the board size set elsewhere.

@Russ saidYesterday, it was not OK.

Today, I played one live game now.
The board size is OK now. It is the same as the size of correspondence play, which can be adjusted (I have not checked that feature).
The game messages during the live game are still barely visible; the box is too small, and there isn't enough space for the text. Scrolling does not help.
For example, I did not even notice during the game that my opponent sent me a message, "Well played!"
