I would like to post links in HTML at the forums.

Usually, you would have to post the destination URL in the thread and people would have to copy and paste it into your browser's address bar.

Here's the URL for my profile:

http://www.redhotpawn.com/profile/playerprofile.php?uid=116801

If I wanted it to show up as a real link I would go like this:

[A href="http://www.redhotpawn.com/profile/playerprofile.php?uid=116801"]My Profile[/A]

It would come up as "My Profile" in blue text and underlined. All you would have to do is click on it and it would take you to the destination URL.

I think it would be easier to make a quick tag for link rather than allowing HTML.

[link]http://www.redhotpawn.com/profile/playerprofile.php?uid=116801[/link]

This would of course not allow people to name links as anything other than the address they lead to. I suppose that is probably a good thing.
