Why not allow people to submit their bcf or elo ratings when registering and so have some real world input into the ratings and make them more directly ocmprable with elo?

Sounds reasonable, for those that HAVE a rating to tell us.

Do you intend that RHP games have an effect on their other rating, and vice versa? Or are you just thinking of giving people a starting point other than 1200?

Is ELO rating calculated the same way of Rhp rating?

Maybe I'm confused but I think it goes like this:

ELO is the method of rating calculation named after Dr. Elo. It is simply capitalized so the method didn't get confused with the person.

BCF, USCF, FIDE, RHP, ICC, etc use the ELO method for calculating ratings as it is the accepted method world-wide.

To me, this question makes no sense, since all chess organizations use the ELO method (yes, some do use slightly different variation, but all that I know of are ELO based)....

    Can someone help me? 🙄
