This is perhaps the first substantial on-topic thing you have contributed to this thread. Thank you. Maybe they're not the same poster. Maybe you're right.

Lying? Not at all. As I said, your objection in this case really has nothing to do with me and you really should take it up with the web site's owners. I have never been banned, as you know, and this thread is about 'returning' banned posters sometimes being tolerated. I'm not quite sure why you are trying to sidetrack the thread. The Sam/Zapp case really has no ...[text shortened]... ou think posters who have been banned should be allowed to continue posting with impunity?
On the basis that the Sam the Sham account has not been banned User 337476 though of course it may or may not be forum banned, no-one except admin and the user themselves will know that

and

the Zapp Brannigan account User 646001 is also not banned and the user is able to post in the forums then

we must assume that the user, if they are one and the same, has either notified admin that he no longer wants to use the Sam the Sham account and has now become Zapp Brannigan - no different to you changing from one account to another

or

Zapp Brannigan and Sam the Sham are not related, other than in your mind

or

admin are happy that no breaches of the TOS apply regarding the two accounts, which may or may not be the same person, so making this thread pointless.

Yes, I was referring to a 'forum ban', not some other kind of ban.
