I think that there should be a limit to the amount of time that a person can sit in a siege without starting the next game.

They can; but, that doesn't help if your are 2nd in the queue.

Auto-timeouts and auto game-starts please.

perhaps there should be a period of x days, during which time the person first in the q or the siege table champ can start the game, then after that time the second placed person has the opportunity to jump up and play and so on.

this would be the same as an auto game start and an auto timeout on the first move wouldn't it?

(games with no moves do not affect your rating)
