Would it be possible to put a "Since ..." date next to the holiday icon?
I know there's a "Last Moved" time, which changes everytime a page is reloaded, but some people who don't move for months still contribute to the forums, and if they're clan leaders, they can still set up and accept challenges. Another option would be a "Last logged in on ..." date.
At least then I would know if wether or not I'm wasting my time when I'm trying to set up clan challenges...

If you get either of your ideas (both would be nice), vacation abusers can shut off and turn back on their vacation to make it look like they just left yesterday.

The existing vacation system seems to be the source of many argues between members. "Is it ethical to time out opponents while on vacation? Yes? No?" I would like this discussions to be entirely obsolete. I hop the new system will be better.

I think that would be the best thing. Then there would be no more flags, excuses, arguments, agonising decisions (none for me anyway; I'm a stomper). And no more taking advantage of others' patience, and definitely no more threads full of "I can't beleeeeve he timed me out, after I left his skull there for a month..."
