You lost. Get your new games going, win those and move on.

What would be the site change? "Oh, I wasn't able to connect."

Erase lost games? Who's to say you couldn't connect.

Take my 5 or 10 timed games and change them please, I couldn't connect.

Just move on, play hard, and stay connected.

If you often have Internet problems you can't avoid, play 7/14 games.

    Yes, whining isn't manly.
There is no whining in chess.

If they did that, what would there be to stop people from simply not moving in lost positions?

The players profile says "a girl, 15 years old, from Iran"
Hardly a guy crying, but girls are permitted to do so.
Give her time to grow up and learn how the game actually works on the net. It is not too long ago that chess was actually outlawed in her country.

    Um dude....

Don't believe everything you see in print. Of course, I don't know the person but that profile doesn't look genuine to me.

Hey, Don't worry about it, I have lost close to 1300 games and still keep plugging away.

Sometimes, me included forget that it is indeed only a game.

Now I may get a smack on the fingies for saying it is only a game, but it is true.

Muppy, as usual you rise above the fray and see the forest as well as the trees.

That's not all. There's blessing by association with your kind, generous spirit.

Think of this thread as learning acceleration.

Thank you for the advice, but, unfortunately I come from a generation where trust was automatic and universal. I realise that those days have gone and can never return, but does that necessarily mean I should forsake my standards?
