If you go to any of the bottom of the page menu's you get a bunch of numbers say, 1 to 30 then a right arrow meaning next in line.
below that it says something like 30 of 1000 or some such. Why not have a box that says, enter line # such and such to go to # 869 for instance, rather than have to go through 1000 mouse clicks to get where you want to be.

Rather than clicking through all the pages you could change the page number in the URL and hit enter.
For example, if you wanted page 45 in the 'thread killing champ thread' you would alter the number at the end to 45.
