Thread titles that are too long

Frequently, when creating a new thread, the title gets trimmed down because it is too long. This results in the title not making sense.

What would be a good idea is to force a limitation on length before the thread is submitted, or show how many characters you have left (like with the notebook facility).

... and also a possibility to edit the thread title as well would also be nice.

Sometimes one see title missing or embarasly misspelled.

Yes, the ability to edit the title will solve the problem of it being too long as well (could then edit it afterwards if it is). Although it would also be nice to have both. 🙂
