time and date stamp

Site Ideas

in times past, the date and a time stamp were added to all posts
last summer's major update changed that to an ever-changing notice of how long the post has been up, counted in "days"

instead of ' july 18, 2024 '
or ' 7/18/24 '
or ' 18/7/24 '
we get ' 151d '
and not a hint of a time stamp, which also used to popup when a mouse is hovered over

this seems just ungainly and crippled
HOWEVER
i also realize there must have been a reason for this change, even if i cannot see it readily
stuff like this doesn't just get swapped out willy nilly

what i would propose is to have BOTH indicators of time added to ever post
that way whatever the reason for the change is still satisfied, and i can look to a calendar easily to find out the exact date i posted that idiotic rhyme without digging out a calculator and physically counting the days

please
thank you

i'm involved in another quest to find the truth and expose it for deception it creates

it seems as if after 365 days, one year, the dang ole time stamp and date revert to the previous format
both in active threads, and, LOL, the thread list of active and inactive threads

i must admit to confusion as to why the system, as it exists, is set up to do this

i'm not a web designer or destroyer, but this seems just weird

Old way was better but how much does it matter? Don't like the new messaging system, really awful on a phone.
