Howdy!

Just wondering if it would be possible to offer additional high rating groupings instead of just 1750/1800+ ? I find that quite often about half of the entrants to these tournaments have 2200+ ratings and that really makes me not want to participate - unfortunately there's no alternative once you're above 1750/1800. And mixing 1800s with 2400s is like mixing 1800s with 1200s.

So maybe two categories like 1750 - 2100, 2100 + (or similar) for the duels, trios, quartets, octets ?

Thank you very much

Agreed. I don't look forward to the 1800-2999 band, which is all I am now allowed to enter....

Has anyone tried sending a feedback about this? It might get some action for you or at least a conversation with Russ about it.
It makes sense to have grouping increments be in linear steps from the low end to the high end.

Judging from the list of currently available tournaments this just got implemented - thank you very much.

It's a start - but the bands are narrow! Some of them are only 25 rating points wide.

Think I'll try sending some feedback of my own. 🙂

Note to self: Sending feedback works.
