When using a straight-up double quotation mark followed by a closing parenthesis (a common occurrence), that gets turned into an emoji, e.g.:
"😉 versus " )
OK, sure, it's just an extra step for the poster to edit the post and insert a post between them, but just thought I'd mention it while I was thinking about it.
