    ...and still is.

    It would be fun to use votings for various things, to advice Russ et. al. in important issues but also just for fun.

    For example: "Who would be considered best chess player in the world right now if you could decide?", "Who will win the tournament 'High Rated Seven Zero Knockout', do you think? ", What do you think about..?" and so on...

    As they can be determined for other things like site ideas for future ideas.

    We could vote for ideas instead of many good ideas being ignored or left to die.
