You can edit your own post for an hour after you post it. So you could delete all of the content and leave it empty. After an hour the edit option goes away and you're stuck with it as written.

alert the mods on your own post, and ask them to delete it.

But if you want your post to really get removed, edit it and add some words like ***, and **** and ************; that will make it get moderated away.
