Maybe I just can't find out how, but a simple win/loss against whomever you are playing would be great. I play a general bunch and to see the tally would be motivating.

Hi

Most guys only play other players once or twice so your request may
not be greatly supported.

You can enter your name and your opponents name in 'Public Games'
this will isolate them from the bunch and you can do a quick count.

Or stick each player in their own folder.

V Papa Michael the score for you is P.21 W.6 D.1 L.14

You had an easy win in the draw but stalemated him.

The subtle win in that game Game 7516209 was here White to play.

You pushed the a-pawn which is good,
(so you should always look for a better move). 45.Rc5

The Knight is now useless. to get back into the game it has to go to b1
and even if we take off the Rook....

...with White to play that Knight is never going to catch that a-pawn.
And when the a-pawn Queens it will threaten Qh8 mate.

I go to "My Home", the left most icon on the red bar, and follow the link "My performance" at the blue bar. From there I get the information you are asking for.

Ah Good. I've never used that before.

(I never even noticed it, I spend very little time looking at my own Home.)

Excellent.

You cannot see another players performance rating bar so I did it the hard way.

There you go Der Hund. We learn something everyday.

Cheers Fabs.

Happy to help! 🙂

Whenever I'm paired to an opponent in a tournament, I consult this page to see if I've met him before, and if so have a review how the games went, and if my opening went sour so I can avoid the same mistake again.

Nice lesson you gave in this thread. (I love your lessons!) I use this 'trick' sometimes. I once got the reply. "Hah, you lost your queen!" and I could have answered: "Yes, but I will win the game because of it!"

In another Game 7565376 lately, I traded my last rook against his bishop in order to win the endgame of pawns.

Trading down is an art form.

Here is one of my better efforts.

Three Moments.

I decided on move 8 to get the b1 Knight to f5 and see what mischief it
could get up to. It won me a couple of pawns.

Then undoubled his pawns leaving only one open file and he
could never contest it.

Then the wee pawn sac trick to swap off Rooks and win with the
outside passer.

Chernev was going to put this in his 'Most Instructive Games' but never had room.

Some Mungo is going to say 'Take it to the Games Forum' so I had better
come up with a Site Idea.....

....I'm thinking.....................I'm thinking....

......Instead of having to cut a paste from the PGN header you could have
a wee buttong that when clicked pasted the game into the buffer for you.
(rec that idea Fabs so Mr Mod cannot shift it)

I am fully aware of these stats being available but agree that to save the hassle for a member with little time available to go those routes. It would be nice if these stats appeared beside the game in progress to save looking.

All you guys are either freakin' geniuses or younger than myself; Mr. Atari 2600 with the worst chess sim known to man. Your 'computers' frighten me!
Thank you all for the assistance.
I would like the simple breakdown on the game page as well.

I guess you jump in with both feet without checking previous posts
