He stil keeps the sabbath because it was in the ten commandments. I told him christ fulfilled the law and it was nailed above him when he was sacrificed. He said just cos it was fulfilled, and jesus replaced the laws with the 2 other laws (love God and neighbour), doesnt mean it was done away with. I thought it was strange that he stil observed the sabbath. Whats more he doesnt celebrate christmas or other religious celebrations because he deemed them pagan. He doesnt smoke, drink or swear, and believes that Christ is coming very soon, physically to collect people. Those who dont believe would die on seeing the christ. It was an interesting conversation. Just wondered if there were any in the forums....

^^^ Based on that page, I'd have to say it's just another group of misguided people desperately clinging to a fictitious security blanket. They're being exploited by yet another "church", with a tad more fundamentalist approach. Nothing like a little fear to keep those sheep in line.

Taking Sunday as the day of rest has pagan origins.
