OK, sure, this was on the Daily Mail (please don't let yourself be distracted by the half-naked people in the right-hand column).
I do not disagree with the premise, and I especially liked the video interview with Dr. Sam Parnia about halfway down.
All of this is interesting to consider in connection with things like Yogananda's autobiography and the question, "What is Enlightenment?" -- e.g., is it just training oneself not to imagine or interpret (which to me seems artificially dismissive of those faculties), or it some kind of expansion into an awareness beyond quotidian physical and temporal limits?
