@fmf saidAnd the list of unbiblical doctrines promoted by sonship grows.
"The commandments of Jesus Christ are minute. They are detailed. They are spontaneous." ~ sonship
Jesus' commandments are "minute"?
I've not come across this before. Is it a widely held Christian belief? Does it have a scriptural basis?
@FMF
My typo was brought to my attention by FMF.
The proper spelling of minut was the word I corrected from "minute".

Jesus' commandments are "minut"?

It still not been grasped by some.
The truth is that
1.) Jesus Christ is alive.
2.) Jesus Christ can blend and unite with believers in His wonderful form as "a life giving Spirit".
This is the fine, detailed, minut union of our life with the gentle yet powerful and victorious life of the God-man Jesus.
Christ penetrates into every nuke and cranny of a man or woman's being.
This is a process that requires a life long growth and development.
And it is carried out by faith when we realize Christ is everything we need.
Christ is everything we need down to action, inclination, minut motive.
Therefore Paul said he preached "the unsearchable riches of Christ as the gospel".
What do I mean by Christ's commandments are MINUT?
First, no one ever told me that in exactly those words. I uttered that from
my own experience. Surely, others have said something similar. But that does not matter now.
This means that Jesus comes into our hearts and has quantum level understanding of our moment by moment, even nanosecond by nanosecond lives.
He said He came that we might have life and have it abundantly.
"I have come that they may have life and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10b)
Abundant life is God's divine life in Christ applied to man richly, thoroughly, down to very small details. He came to impart Himself to man in thought, motive, inclination, action, word, abundantly.
To do this Christ in resurrection transformed Himself into a a life giving Spirit.
" . . . the last Adam became a life giving Spirit" entails Christ GIVING Himself to us to blend and mingle with us. In this we FIND our saved soul.
"Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone wants to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.
For whoever wants to save his sol-life shall lose it; but whoever loses his soul-life for My sake shall find it."
For what shall a man be profited of he gains the whole world but forfeits his soul-life? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul-life?"
This means the old life of living independently is given up voluntarily. And the believer learns a new way to live following not himself but Christ living in him. In doing so life abundant is given. The unsearchable riches of Christ are explored. And one finds his true identity. He was never meant to live apart from God but united with God.
All that we are as an independent Godless liver is cancelled out. God can use none of it. He died on the cross for the godless good man. He died on the cross for the godless evil man. He died and rose to cancel all the man living apart from God out forever.
And we learn to follow Him in a finer and finer granularity of union with the Spirit of Christ.
Just as a little child first learns the word "No" similarly when we first receive Christ, much of His leading will be to say "No".
These can be very minut and fine commandments.
"Before you thought that. Now No. Do not think like that now."
A commandment of the Holy Spirit.
"Before you used that tone of voice with your spouse. Do not use that tone now."
Another possible FINE and MINUT commandment of Jesus.
" Before you gazed on something like that. Now turn your eyes away."
Another MINUT commandment of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
"No. What you want to say, don't say that this time."
Another finely tuned inclination of the indwelling Jesus Christ.
In this way, finely, minutly, yet gently, like a dove in its gentleness the indwelling Spirit of life regulates.
After some time the victory over past sins and the transformation into the image of Christ assures one that he is on the right track to have turned over his life to Jesus. It is no longer easy for others to tell him that Christ is not real.
@sonship saidWhat a load of BS. But seeing the source, no surprise.

The only source I referred to were some passages from the New Testament.
You should know what I am talking about.
That you dismiss so rudely as if you have no idea of what I am saying, is not a good indication of your level of experience as a Christian.
Paul spoke of a level of growth in the Christian experience such that EVERY THOUGHT could be captive to the obedience of Christ. This is too fine to be codified.
"as we overthrow reasonings and every high thing rising up against the knowledge of God, and take captive every thought unto the obedience of Christ." (2 Cor. 10:5)
This is Christ spontaneously regulating and living within our thought life in a very detailed and minut way. This is the Christian's destiny to be thoroughly and seamlessly filled and saturated with Jesus Christ to his enjoyment and God's expression in his living.
" . . . every thought to the obedience of Christ"
This is minut.
This is detailed.
This is Jesus eventually uniting with us on such a level that it is nearly impossible to codify in typical human words.
This is leading to something like Paul saying that it is not longer he that lives but Christ that lives within him. This takes a life time to grow into.
"I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me." (Gal. 2:20)
Now read that again, more slowly and with concentration. Do not just gloss over those words with contempt. LISTEN. LISTEN to him CAREFULLY.
It is Christ who lives in him. He has learned this way of overcoming and victory by faith that Christ can be EVERYTHING he needs.
@sonship saidJust like how your doctrine ignores Christ, this piece of nonsensical BS has nothing to do with the teachings of Christ and the Apostles. Christ is NOT dwelling in you, because all you posted about is YOURSELF. ME ME ME, I, I, I. I do this now, I think this now.

When Christ dwells in people, or when believers have the Holy Spirit, they are driven to DO CHARITABLE GOOD WORKS for those around them. They help the poor, feed the hungry, clothe the naked etc etc. Only then are they worthy to enter the Kingdom of God as Jesus stated in crystal clear language in Matt 25.
But you, after all your decades of boasting of Jesus flowing through you, this is all you can mister .. boasting about your own puny self. What a pathetic deluded fool you are. The only thing that dwells in you is Satan.

I quoted to you Galatians 3:20. This is not merely what I think. This is mainly what the Apostle Paul thought.
He wrote 13 or 14 books out of the 27 New Testament books.
When Christ dwells in people, or when believers have the Holy Spirit, they are driven to DO CHARITABLE GOOD WORKS for those around them.
I did not say this is not true.
They help the poor, feed the hungry, clothe the naked etc etc.
I did not say any of these things were not true either.
Nor have I ever taught not to do things like this.
I have emphasized knowing Christ and His indwelling grace to live out the Christian life.
This you despise.
Only then are they worthy to enter the Kingdom of God as Jesus stated in crystal clear language in Matt 25.
I have expounded before the situation of the teaching meant by Matthew 25:31-46.
That these sheep from among the Gentiles are not Christians, I agree.
That these sheep are atheists doing good things, I do not.
What they didn't realize is that what they did to the least of the Lord's brothers, they did to Jesus. Without knowing WHO Jesus was, their consciences regulated the way they treated the persecuted godly people during the three and one half years great tribulation.
I explained this before. You do not believe this interpretation.
But you, after all your decades of boasting of Jesus flowing through you, this is all you can mister .. boasting about your own puny self. What a pathetic deluded fool you are. The only thing that dwells in you is Satan.
We should stand upon the promises of God. If people find this to be "boasting" then they don't like that Christians believe and stand upon the promises of God.
Most of the accusation leveled by critics here are silly, biased, and self serving exaggerations.
That mistakes have been made by me over the years here, I admit.
Some ground for complaining I feel is valid. But most of the accusations from you and militant anti-theists have been rather silly.
And if I bother to counter them, then I am called egotistical.
If I ignore them, then I am accused of running away.
I would ask any of you this: What did Jesus do against you?
